Find and manage saved chats

Reopen a conversation, rename it and distinguish chat history from research Activity.

Chats belong to your account in the selected workspace. Use the magnifying-glass button beside New Sheet, or Cmd/Ctrl+K, and search for the chat title. Choose a result in the Chats group to reopen it. Search finds active, unarchived chat titles; it does not search every message in a transcript.

In an open saved chat, select its title to rename it, or use its action menu. Press Enter or leave the title field to save; Escape cancels the edit. Use a recognizable task name so you can find the conversation again.

Archive a conversation

The open chat's action menu offers Archive. Archiving preserves the conversation and its saved Sheet tabs; it does not archive those Sheets or cancel accepted research. Keep the chat URL if you may need to reopen an archived conversation. An archived chat opened through its URL offers Restore chat in its action menu; archived chats are excluded from ordinary workspace search.

Reopen the data and evidence

A saved chat restores its Sheet tabs. You can open, reorder and close those tabs independently of the conversation; closing the last tab closes the right pane. An attachment or tab never replaces the Sheet's access checks.

Activity records research jobs, sources and costs. Sheet history records committed Sheet revisions. These are separate from the conversation transcript: use the right record for the question you are investigating.
