Leadbase documentation
Research companies, contacts and the web in editable sheets through the app, API and MCP.
Build the target list your business needs, then add the company facts, work emails and direct numbers that make it useful. Leadbase brings discovery, research and enrichment into one editable Sheet. Work in the app, ask the built-in assistant, or connect your AI client or application.
Choose the shortest path
- You need a new list: use
sheets_researchin MCP orsheets.researchthrough HTTP. Describe criteria, fields and target count. - You want details in existing rows: use
sheets_enrichorsheets.enrichfor a selected column and rows. - You need answers without a sheet: use
enrichment_startorenrichment.startwith 1–100 typed items. Many email and phone requests can share one batch. - Your application knows exact provider inputs: use direct catalog or structured search operations through the HTTP API. These are not public MCP tools.
- You are building an agent integration: read the agent guide and use the tools advertised by your connected server.
Explore the Catalog for research capabilities and templates for reusable starting points. Use automations for scheduled work. Activity explains research outcomes, and Credits explains actual cost and settlement.
Workspaces separate access and budgets. Accepted research continues in the backend when the browser or client closes; keep its IDs so you can retrieve it later. HTTP and MCP share contracts for operations available on both surfaces, but offer different operation sets. The OpenAPI document describes HTTP schemas; MCP discovery is authoritative for connected tools. For each result, use its sources and status to check the match for your task.
