Assistant actions and access
Understand execution, questions, and how to review changes.
The assistant works within your Sheet permissions, workspace boundaries and credit controls. It can execute the actions you request directly. The composer uses one execution mode; there is no separate permission-mode selector.
State the intended Sheets, rows, and result clearly. Use the stop control to cancel ongoing work. A request for missing information appears in the conversation; answer it there so the assistant can continue. If an existing execution is waiting for approval, its approval controls remain available.
Sheet history lets you inspect changes and revert them. Research and other billable operations still follow the product’s credit controls.
Review the resulting cells and source material before using the output for a consequential decision. This helps catch incomplete answers, outdated information or an incorrect match. The linked product documentation explains each workflow in detail.
